A Poem For the Dearly Departed

Dearest M,

I miss you everyday,

From the morning I open my eyes,

To the night before I sleep,

You are constantly on my mind,

Images and memories of you remain lingering,

Revolving round and around,

My mind is on a frequent whirl,

That never stops rotating,

It is safe to say that,  

You are the unvarying habitant of my mind,

 Precious memories of yesteryears, 

Will never be washed down the drain,

Even after a million years have passed,

I will always hold them close to my heart,

They will be,

Securely tucked,

In a special place that is,

Gleaming with golden lining,

Adorned with your favourite flowers,

Accompanied by lovely whimsical tunes,

Reserved just for you,

I hold you dear within,

Because,

That is how much I love you,

Dearest M,

You will forever be,

My astral elysian.

Beyond eternity,

A love without an end.

Infinite love.
